Our tour of south Vancouver begins with Cascade Park (easy access to I-205), continues with the fabulous views of Evergreen Highway and concludes with The Heights (a very desirable area).
Evergreen Highway
Along Highway 14, the main highway to Eastern Washington from Vancouver, is an area referred to as "The Evergreen Highway Area". It stretches from Downtown Vancouver to approximately 164th Ave.
There are Columbia River waterfront homes, view property of the Columbia and downtown Portland, and everything in-between.
There are a few subdivisions of name, but mostly areas where 10-20 homes were built and the developer named it something to, of course, satisfy the powers to be. A few of the more notable subdivisions of recognizable name are "Rivercrest", "Steamboat Landing", "Silver Springs", "Lieser Point", & "Toppers Landing".
