The eastern side of Vancouver is known as East County.
Growing steadily since the addition of the I-205 bridge, East County boasts of neighborhoods such as Fisher's Landing, Knights and Crown Points, Prune Hill and Lacamas Shores.

Prune Hill
Yes - the farmers used to grow prunes on prune hill, but no longer, homes are grown there now.
There are many types and values of homes being put up, the most recent addition was Vancouver's 2001"Parade of Homes". Views, of course - Elegant, to say the least - Big, you bet - Expensive, oh yeah!
Prune Hill is east of Vancouver and west of downtown Camas. It does reside in the Camas City Limits, however - at least most of it.
With easy access to the I-205 bridge, this area has recently given development a boost.
Price range is from $250,000 to $1.5 million for homes with high square footage and lots of bedrooms as well as views of the Columbia River and downtown Portland lights.
